A Selective Pallet Rack system offers the ability to access each pallet and SKU directly. The design and layout can be engineered to meet any volume, weight or size requirement. Due to its versatility, the Selective Pallet Rack design is the most commonly used approach to planning warehouses.

The teardrop pattern is punched on 2” centers giving sections a nearly custom fit for every pallet.

Frames can be assembled with standard size bracing to quickly meet various depths requests.

Our bolted frames ensure structural integrity while offering easy and economical repairs, allowing you to quickly replace damaged components, which welded uprights cannot match.

Bolted frames offer more flexibility to reconfigure, which translates to lower ownership costs.

The depth of the frame is normally determined by the size of the pallet. For example, standard pallets measure 48” long where the suggested pallet rack frame should be 42” deep.

Pallets should overhang 3” from the front and 3” from the back of each level to guarantee that the weight is distributed evenly.

Wire Decking and other accessories are available to better control variations in the pallet size.

Standard Pallet Rack Frames are available from 24” to 48” deep and are stocked in sizes from 8’ to 24’ high.

Teardrop Beams

Beams are used to create the actual ‘shelf levels’ that support loads and are held up by pallet rack uprights. Pairs of beams form each individual shelf level.

Our Rolled-Formed Teardrop beams utilize a step indentation on the inside of every beam to hold wire decking or cross bars.

Beams have tubular design and continuous seamless weld. Connector plates use 9-gauge steel with either 3 or 4 shaved buttons depending on the length.

Each beam has a pre-installed safety clip that automatically locks into place once the beam has been engaged with the frame.

Safety clips provide exceptional protection against any damage, tampering and accidental.

Standard Pallet Rack beams have 3 shaved buttons (pins) attached to each 6” connection plate. Models 60E / 625E are equipped with 4 Shaved buttons and have an 8” connection plated for increased strength.

Wire Decking

Wire decking is a product that works in with pallet racks to provide support, safety, and other benefits to warehouse racks like:

They are easy to install (they simply drop into place), there are no tools required for installation, and allow high visibility through all levels of pallet racking.

In addition to providing protection from falling inventory, wire decking can improve air circulation and prevent dust build-up.

Can also help increase overhead sprinkler effectiveness, and many local fire codes require them instead of particle board or plywood.

They utilize a 1 ½” waterfall design in the front and back that securely rests on top of each beam.

Depending on the capacity they have 3 supports channels per deck in 16 or 14 gauge.
